Talent Images Self-Test

"Some people are more likely to work and make money than others."

"Some people are just more talented than others."

"Some people have all the luck."

"It's all in who you know."

Hmmmm. Or could it be that some people are just "better prepared!"?

The purposes of this self-test are two-fold: first, to evaluate where you are in terms of the images which compete and sell you to ad agencies, producers and photographers; second, to point out the kinds of new images you should be seeking to add to your marketing representation.

Carefully fill in your name and email address, select the option that seems most applicable to your particular situation - as it actually is today; then click on the submit button at the foot of the questionnaire and the results will be instantly emailed to you (assuming your email address is entered accurately!).

The email message will include some scoring guidance and some suggestions to help with further planning.

Section Three: "Defining Shots"
Okay, somewhere along the line you completed a skills questionnaire - either online or by telephone with a Ten Casting Partner. You were asked at that time about sports, dance, martial arts and music skills from baseball to kayaking, and from ballroom to hip hop. So what are the particular skills YOU are most likely to be called upon to perform on camera? Rock climbing, rollerblading, weight training, mountain biking? Soccer, basketball, running, surfing, golf, swimming, diving, horseback riding? Tennis, racquetball, squash, jai alai, hockey, skiing, pole vaulting, rugby? Others?

You pick your best ten, fill in the blanks and rate yourself in terms of how prepared you are to be hired to perform that skill in a commercial, film or even a magazine ad.

And finally. . .
Before answering this one,  go take another look at the images included in  Ten Casting's Online Portfolio Preview http://tencasting.com/tcmprevreq.html   Then come back. . . and BE HONEST!
If you were a brand manager or marketing vp at a big consumer products company (like maybe Proctor & Gamble or  Ford Motor Company), and you were reviewing images of talent (assembled and submitted by a casting director) for a commercial. . .

and if such things as a likeable, friendly smile, a healthy, attractive look, and a lean, proportionally-muscled body seemed important to you. . .

and if you had talent images of the range and quality of those typical in Ten Casting's Portfolio Preview to select from. . .

would you choose you from your current images?
